George Washington is one of my favorite men in history. I find him fascinating to say the least. Here are a few great quotes from the 1st President of the United States of America. I hope they inspire you.

Our 1st president is truly worthy of esteem. I think the single most important reason is the man’s humility. After the Revolutionary war was won, Washington was offered to be named king of the United States. He adamantly refused, but agreed to be president. Then after being unanimously voted to two terms as president he positively refused to serve for a third term.
